Trip Details

The best light happens during the fringes of the day at dawn and dusk. Therefore, trips focused on scenic viewing and photography will start or finish in the dark. These times of day, especially in the mornings, are cooler but that usually means more atmospheric conditions and colorful skies, so we will provide the proper guidance on how to dress and what to bring on your tour. Beyond the early mornings and late afternoons, other scenes can be photographed throughout the day, like waterfalls, cascades, rivers, forests and scenic views of the park complimented by the clouds gathering in the sky.

Itinerary

All tours are custom and do not follow a predetermined itinerary. Prior to your tour, we will send you an outline of where we will go during the tour, but especially with weather, the tour will go to destinations that give the landscape photographer the biggest impact. Because of our familiarity with the park, we know where to go for what scenes and when to be there for the best light, so we will plan the tour around your goals on which types of scenes you want to make priority and then plan accordingly depending on the time of year.
