Rocky Tours

Wildlife and Scenery

Dawn Wilson and Richard Barberot offer private, custom tours in Rocky Mountain National Park, one of the most scenic and popular parks in the National Park System.

Each photo tour is customized to your skill level and interests, with the option to go out for a full day, half day, or on a sunrise, sunset or night sky photo experience. You will walk away with lots of new tips and tricks to improve your photography while enjoying this amazing park. Because each tour is customized to your goals, there is no preset schedule or list of destinations. We will customize the locations on the tour for your interests, whether that is wildlife, landscapes, getting to know the park or a combination of any of these.

As residents of northern Colorado for more than 20 years, including six in Estes Park, basecamp for Rocky Mountain National Park, their knowledge of the region comes from first-hand experience of being in the park on a regular basis. They know where to look for animals—like moose, bighorn sheep, pikas, and more—as well as the best sunrise and sunset locations for gorgeous photos for your walls.

Wildlife

Whether it is a moose calf in the spring, a flower-bouquet wielding pika in the summer or a bugling elk in the fall, we know where to take you for maximum wildlife viewing in Rocky Mountain National Park.

Rocky Tour Options

We’ll discuss the available options when confirming your tour.
