Wildlife and Scenery
Creeks and Critters Nature Tours offers tours in other parts of Colorado, national parks throughout the U.S. and abroad in some of the most unique destinations in the world to photograph wildlife and scenic locations. We also guide for other tour companies to expand our tour offerings.
Each photo tour is customized to be at the best location at the best time for the subjects you want. Tours range in length from three-day weekend trips to once-in-a-lifetime, multi-week adventures. You will walk away with lots of new tips and tricks to improve your photography while enjoying these amazing places. Because each tour is centered around specific goals yet with flexibility to take advantage of what nature offers us, there is only a general itinerary of destinations each day, which may also change from year to year based on wildlife patterns, peak seasons and weather. We will customize the tours for the group’s interests, whether that is wildlife, landscapes, getting to know the location or a combination of any of these. We also like to include local culture for those more far-off locations to give tour participants a sense of place.
As guides for multiple companies because of our expertise in photographing the outdoors, fun and exciting trips, they will do all they can to make sure you have the best experience possible with fun outings and excellent photos.
Join us for a tour in beautiful locations around the world. We lead photo tours to capture stunning images of brown bears in coastal Alaska, birds in the Amazon rainforest, polar bears in Churchill, landscapes in Alaska’s remote tundra, wildlife in snowy Yellowstone, night skies in the Black Hills and many other locations near and far. Most tours consist of small groups, where we can provide hands-on instruction, with a few tours even dedicated just for women. These are just a few of the photo tours we lead throughout North and South America. Brown Bears
Nothing says Alaska more than coastal brown bears feeding on salmon, playing on the beach, tackling each other in water or nursing their cubs. With more than a decade of experience visiting this remote wilderness, you are sure to come home with once-in-a-lifetime photos and enthralled with bears as much as we are.
Nature of Nome
Alaska is loaded with places that are only accessible by boat or plane. But Nome is one of the few that also has an abundance of wildlife, like muskox, moose, fox, nesting birds, arctic hares, lynx and more. This trip also coincides with the longest day of the year to experience the land of the midnight sun.
Beauty of Devils Tower
Embark on a night adventure in the park with the iconic monolith from the movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Experience breathtaking views of the night sky when the park is still and calm while learning how to photograph these spectacular scenes. Tour also includes wildlife and landscapes of the region.
Eagles of Alaska
Listen to the piercing call of more than 2,000 bald eagles during the largest gathering of the national bird. Experience stunning views of the surrounding snow-covered peaks as bald eagles soar past the jagged mountains. Capture dramatic images of eagles fighting, fishing, resting and feeding along with the possibility of northern lights.
